Dear sun,

Once I have my own sun. Like the planets that revolve around you, he was my universe axis. He shone on my unlighted days, melted the frigid soul of mine with his single caress, even brought rains and rainbows to make the butterflies inside my chest live longer. We built our skies, stars, moon, asteroids to create the perfect galaxy, just to see it collapse on another rainy day.

Because mom didn't like my sun, he was too dazzled, she said. Sure, there's no way the sun couldn't bedazzle. And it would be my forever guilt for never getting the courage to pick up our pieces of broken dreams.

He tried everything he could do but put all of them in its orbit in the end. He is the sun and I am the planet, which can only love him from afar. I didn't know how my sun started to set and never rose again, but I remember the last night of October vividly when he left me with only unforgettable happy memories of him.
